A Life Transformed... Helping Others Do The Same
Meet Bruce Brouillette... For over nineteen years, I worked and volunteered with drug and alcohol abuse recovery programs. In 2003, I became the Sig-E Grant Coordinator for a Federally Funded grant for alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention at Snow College. I co-created their ATOD (alcohol, tobacco and other drugs) prevention program.
At the end of two years at Snow College working full time as the Grant Coordinator, I completed a degree and found a self healing path of ownership and responsibility. After graduation, I started working as a House Parent Coordinator at Wasatch Academy (a privately funded boarding school for high school age students). There my greatest desire was to reach the world's children and help them find and embrace the “life skills” that would enable them to soar into responsible adulthood.
After fighting my own teenage and young adult battle with alcohol and drug abuse, I didn't know how to deal with life. I had a pseudo peace and freedom that somehow was enough to get me by. After finding my way into a twelve step program in 1989, I still was plagued with multiple mental and physical disorders and conditions battling a never ending struggle with deep dark depression. Living two lives I was desperately looking for the key to letting go of the past and living a “new real freedom.”
In spring 2005 a friend gave me “The Journey” a book by internationally best-selling author Brandon Bays. It was a fascinating story of how she found peace and truth following her experience with a basketball-size tumor on her uterus. She accessed a source which would cure that tumor without medication or surgery in just 6½ weeks.
In September, 2006 I attended one of the Journey intensive seminars; it was a 3 day journey that rocketed me into a completely different dimension of existence. I found a real peace and knowing of whom I am. What seemed like a lifetime of guilt, shame, fear, and anxiety disappeared within a few days. As I embraced the journey I found a real sense of freedom, peace and surrender. As my life transformed before my eyes, I was in a state of disbelief that a journey like this was possible. Then a ferocious intention arose to bring myself to a fuller knowledge of freedom, peace and surrender and then take it to the world.
Since September, 2006 I completed the eight-course Journey Practitioners program and became an accredited practitioner. As a trainer, I helped facilitate and train trainers at 22 more Journey workshops and retreats. Working full time for The Journey as the North American Logistics Manager, I traveled throughout North America putting in over a 1000 hours of training, processing, and healing myself and teaching others the same.
My strongest prayer is that I may continue on this path of freedom and self-discovery and that EVERYONE may have the same opportunity of awakening into the true essence of which they are and live in their own truth and freedom.
