Erik Hansen

Erik grew up in northern New Jersey where his grandmother felt he had a "sixth sense" and helped him to develop it during his youth with encouraging words and by example. At the age of five he felt a strong calling to discover how the body really worked and began a life filled with athletics. During his early teens, Erik developed an ability to model the physical movements of his fellow athletic teammates and would share his observational awareness's with them, assisting them to become much better swimmers. From there his life's mission and fascination has been to discover how to maximizes the body's ability to excel- physically.

Erik spent his early twenties as a professional triathlete (seventh overall on the United States Triathlon Series). Telecom Plus and other sponsors used him to motivate their executives to attain superior wellness in all aspects of there lives. He became a natural for motivation and developed a profound sensitivity in finding each individual's "limiting factors".

In 1986, Erik completed his certification in massage through the National Holistic Institute in Oakland CA. He then went on to build the Rocky Mountain Human Performance Center (RMHPC) and six months into the project he co-founded Coreance Rehabilitation Center, which served the Boulder, Colorado community for over twenty years.

With the disillusionment of two marriages, Erik found that his body had a calling for a deeper connection beyond just the physical. In December 2007, he was introduced to The Journey and was hooked on a new way of being. He has since completed the entire Journey Practitioner Program, JourneyMan, Touch of the Divine (a Journey course for massage therapist) and is now participating in the Visionary Leadership Program.

By combining his wealth of knowledge and experience about the body with his new Journey skills, Erik is now motivated to working toward a deeper level of overall physical and emotional healing, connection and profound acceleration for all of his clients. He uses Journey elicitations with his massage therapy and to a great extent with his "Three-Dimensional" movement work that he has developed over the past twenty four years. His clients both new and old to The Journey are extremely amazed at the clearing of deep crystallizing moments in their lives that have held them back on the physical, spiritual and emotional levels. Their souls are set to live their life's purpose with greater clarity and abundance.
