Ilene Beal

My name is Ilene Beal. I have five beautiful children and I am married to their father (my handsome prince charming) Jared Beal. I am a full-time Mom. I drive a minivan and car pool the kids to school and piano lessons. In my spare time (usually when the kids are at school) I like to do Journey process work with others. I find great joy in serving others and I am passionate about teaching people how the Journey and Visionary Leadership can be useful for them and their families.

My Journey first began in 2004 when my Mom gave us The Journey Book by Brandon Bays. Jared was experiencing back pain so intense that he couldn't lie down and he was using crutches to walk. Our doctor wanted Jared to have back surgery right away. We talked about it and decided to try alternative healing modalities instead. We attended our first Journey intensive to "Fix my Husband". From that day on his back started to heal. Today he's still doing the same excavation work as before and his back is fine.

In March of 2006 after the birth of our son, Chris, I went into a deep depression. Everything went numb. For months I couldn't seem to pull myself out. I was so unhappy and discouraged. Jared and I were yelling at each other all the time, The kids were fighting. The house was a mess. I couldn't make a decision about anything. It felt like my whole world was collapsing around me. I kept thinking that I wanted to get a divorce. Finally after a talk with my Mom, I decided to drive to a Journey intensive in Colorado before I filed for divorce. Maybe we could save our marriage if we both worked on our issues. At the intensive I had a huge break through process. Where I recalled an old vow I had made about if Jared ever did this again I would divorce him. I removed that old vow (the pressure to get a divorce, the indescion, and depression all fell away), I shed a few tears and forgave myself & Jared. I came out of that process a new woman and from that point on my world started to heal. We decided to keep working on our issues with weekly Journey processes. We also signed up for The Manifest Abundance Retreat and eventually the entire Journey Practitioners Program. The Journey saved my marriage and healed my life.

In 2009 I completed the Visionary leadership program. It was amazing! I highly recommend this program to everyone who wants to move forward in life in a healthy authentic way. The Visionary leadership program helped me to over come my fears of exposure, success, and speaking. I still struggle with issues now and then. The biggest difference is that now I am free and willing to look at what's really here. I have the Journey skills to assist myself and others, and I use them regularly. I find that now I move forward though life in a healthy, happy, loving, open way. I love this work! It is so effective and transformational. Everyone can do it. It is my deepest prayer to see Journey work being used in families. There is a great need for it. I hope that 2010 will heal countless people and families as they move forward in their healing Journey's.
